Hardest hero to counter 1v1

Ok so I've been watching some of the Sgamer Solo 1v1 dota comp, which got me wondering.

I know pretty much any hero in dota can be counter, or at least rendered ineffective by another hero. So I'd like to find out what you guys think, which hero would be the hardest to counter.

My list would be something like:

1)Bambi (havent seen a reliable counter)
2)Brood (seen countered by sandking and darkseer)
3)Viper (i guess brood could counter?)
4)????

But most of the win/loses ive seen its still 80% still as ive seen very
similar line-up time and timne again but only certain players pulling
off the outcomes

Wat you guys think of a solo clock(with cm aura), even with my Krob i just could not stop the clock from outsoloing me

As for the bambi counter, the new razor with his 3rd ability does a pretty dam good job against her for if she does go on the offensive

ya I guess the razor would be a good one, although he still might not be able to kill the bambi, he could at least render her ineffective.

As for the clock with aura, I'm talking about a 1v1 game with no other heroes on the map. But i think most melee heroes that can solo nicely would counter clock since he needs relatively low hp to get kills. Also heroes with mana drain/burn (nerub/AM) could render him useless.

Kunkka is also hard to counter I think. Although I once got owned 1v1 using kunkka vs a CM.......

In my defense the CM baught a dagon with his starting cash which I didnt bargain on and pwnt me early on, from which point I couldn't get any $$$ to defend against it, and I was screwed.

Dazzle would own WR,so would na/tiny/tinker/zeus/wl/lion/ and bane most prob.

But dazzle the most with na second.

I actually haven't had trouble soloing against anyone with kunkka (although I think that's more luck than anything).

Kunkka's strength comes in with his range, which renders a hero like clockwerk useless. I mean, either just stay away from him if there are no creeps around (easy with kunkka) or if there are creeps around kunkka can easily out dps him. Having said that a skilled clock wont try anything funny creeps around.

I just cant imagine a hero which can beet kunkka in solo lane :? You just have to assume your opponent has a brain and use your own brain. For example say you're soloing against sf... sometimes because you're trying to tidebringer you sometimes dance with your opponent around creeps, and if you get to the other side of creeps with sf on your side... you're fucked. Also against bottle reliant solo heroes just keep the pressure on when they move to the rune... keep note of which way they move and use the high ground to land a nice torrent and snatch the rune. A single torrent and tidebringer will keep most heroes thinking twice about engaging in a fight to the death.

well we talking a hypethetical example here, where it 1v1 only mid no other heroes on the map and both players are of equal skill and can play any hero to perfection.

I know what u saying nato but what I'm trying to get at here is not how u can use your hero to outskill another hero, but how a specific heroes spells/strengths are easier or harder to counter.

Kunkka is definately up there, but i dont think he is the hardest hero to counter. Consider that 1v1 comp I was talking about. It was apom and I dont think anyone picked kunkka. So basically a player would pick a hero and the opponent would then pick to try counter it.

Basically what I wanna know is, if you had first pick what hero would you take?

Also remember that you dont necessarily have to be able to kill your apponant, just outfarm and get his towers before you can get his. Eg broodmother might not be able to kill bambi, but she will have a damn hard time dealing with the spiderlings and stopping it pushing towers

Some other things I noticed from the comp:
Bambi seemed to be the most popular pick, but
Bane > Bambi
KOTL also did quite well

Hmmm... Weird comp. The 1v1 comp's I've seen here in Joburg were 1st Blood wins, with a max 15 minute time-limit (where both guyz would than go to the Rosh area and fight it out). And the mode was -aromsh (random, same hero, mid-lane).

What do you think about a mini-tourney, a 1v1 tourney where individual players battle it out in a 1v1 solo battle as Neon explained where the mode is -aromsh with a 15min time limit to kill your opponent. If no1 dies by the time the timer reaches 15mins then both players are eliminated from the comp......Interested? Can call it the Candy Mini Cup

Yea I see what you mean, Rocka.

I'd go for zombie or kunkka hey. They're hard to counter and add a lot to the end game.
