I think we need to think of ways to make the game shorter. I would say 20-30mins max.
Not sure how to go about it though. I think one of the reasons is its to easy to push creeps back to the opponents base once they reach your base. This means the action is going back and forth between the 2 bases constantly, even if one team is dominating.

True - I haven't worked out a good solution yet... apart from maybe having more creeps out.

Another possible idea is making the creeps progressively stronger with each tower you destroy

Ok so I've been giving this some thought and come up with some ideas to make the game faster:
1) As above, creeps get stronger with each enemy tower destroyed. You'll have to play around with how tower health and how much stronger the creeps get to get a nice balance.
2) Make the base entrance wider and harder to defend
3) Bonus hero experience for killing towers or a lot more gold to the team
4) Longer death times
Not sure if making more creeps will help unless maybe its 1 extra creep per wave for every enemy tower destroyed.

Longer death times aren't really that cool I think - since there aren't enough players (3v3) and its too easy to have the whole team dead then.
The emphasis should definitely be on active play time.
The newest map is 1.02 and has MUCH faster XP gain and more gold, it should be worthwile to test how the map plays right now before more can be said.

som more suggestions from me. I think the basic gameplay is good now, just a few minor things.
1) decrease shop item cool down times, or even make them non existent
2)update recipes to the new dota recipes and prices. Not theat NB but I keep buying the wrong items.
3)When you buy more than 1 tango it doesnt stack in the inv slot it takes up another slot

Regarding the items, it's quite a bit of work to do items. Especially to do the new effects from DotA (just changing recipe is relatively straight-forward). Then there is the entire set of Level 5 items that people would like to see, etc.
I might start working on that at some stage, but it isn't a priority.
If I remember I'll do the item-cooldowns.
The next major thing I want to do is implement these two heroes:
Geophrey and Freya
Go vote on the forums for them! Support the heroes actually getting into DotA
