Always keep an eye on the mini-map - one of the most usefull habits I learned. Helps you spot ganks coming (if you pushing bot alone, you see three enemies mid and suddnely they gone, u know its time to seek the fountain. Also usefull for spotting enemies wandering off away from support pleading for a gang.
