A lil info about this comp/stage...
It's supposed to consist of the 1st eight teams that were knocked out of the main tourney, but since FtC pulled out due to lack of players we asked the admin if we could take their spot - since we got kicked out just after the 1st eight. So ya, lucky us.

Gotta admit, I expected more from these guyz from 1st impressions as their clan-name is North West Gaming Clan, and their roster is pretty intimidating with it's sheer size. Not much to say about this one, save for my pulling at the bot lane was horrible, for some reason I always stopped too soon, missing the pull. :/ DuC practically won this one without my help. >_<

Knew this was gonna be a tough one before-hand. We played 'em 4v4 (3 of our players were MIA/busy, and DRMZ were in a rush to play). Our strat was for me to solo SF mid... ...but they snatched it away from us before we got the chance - worked out for the best Edge/Demon/Shau might argue. lol. So we went with a solo Tinker - nice call by Legend. Sure their SF had an imba farm but his build was way too defensive for a 4v4 game - he had a BKB, Blink-stick and BOT. in the beginning, we were forced to shuffle lanes as Legend's DK was up against Naix/cm which would be tough to farm up, so he went top to lane against Puck. But than DRMZ did some swapping of their own, sending SF top. We could not allow that so we swapped again - thinking about it now makes me laugh, was like a mary-go-round, with peeps constantly moving around. >_< I perma-ganged bot with Tinker and their cm felt the brunt of it, with her crappy items (even for a support). I reckon it was their cm, esp in a 4v4 game, that cost them the victory - but, our DK was pretty imba too.

I reckon thiz is one of the 1st tourney-clannies where Edge was not invovled. Wow! I bought a ton of tp scrolls this game. Oo lol. Not much more I can say, save for the Demon-Aegis incident - where Legend asked us all to come mid to tt/rax and Demon is at base healing up - Legend told me the point was for Demon to die with his Aegis in the battle (tanking). The four of us ended up dying with Demon at base healing. FTW? >_<

Ah, the grudge match. Time was an issue for CC and as they had to win two games to win the tourney (coming from the Losers-Bracket) we started just after 8pm - Legend still chowing during the draft. >_< Was really surprised at their strat, haven't seen a solo Lesh in ages. I had Spec in my lane, and made sure to focus her. The 3 carries did the rest for DuC.

All in all it was a successful phase 2 comp 4 us all wins and no losses even tho we didnt have full team available at all times

never liked the double vanguard idea on axe, would rather 1 vangaurd. HoD and then maybe Heart

The new heart is one of the most inderated items atm imo. 1% of total HP regen, means that buying any str items or HP items just make it even more powerfull.

If you got 3k health (pretty normal for STR hero with heart) its already +30 hp regen per second

Yes i agree but still scary , i had a double Heart on doombringer just to mess around and found it to be most delightful

The reason I went for the double Vanguard is cause they had minimal spell-spamage and more DPS heroes.

Thing is tho with double vanguard is it looks all nice n tankful,but doesnt really do x2 of what its meant to do, i would rather have gone 1 Vanguard and 1 Blademail just to piss em off.....

I think with 2 x vanguard you get something like 65% chance to block 40 damage instead of the 65% to block 35 damage of 1 vanguard. Not worth the $$$

was also surprised to see that vanguard is wasted on tidehunter

Well done guys,just one thing to add is that it sucks you got to play so much more games then the rest of the upper tier(such as fuQit,AvG,mmk,etc).

But the clans in the loser tourney will definitely improve,and wont be demoralized by getting constantly thrashed(i lol'd teams cant even get one kill against mint)

LOL.....Thats how it was at Africon last year, with the Junior teams, it was a FFA to see who could get 0 deaths and most killz against them.

Yeah it was kinda unfair, but was still fun, and was cool showing CC that they dont really stand a chance 1st time round
