UNSPOKEN GRAPHIC (and web) DESIGN RULES

1. Your fonts will default to the worst possible font available on the machine you are showing your work on.

Have a look at the transparency on Sly's sig it's awesome (also PNG). I've tested it in Firefox and IE and works fine unless you using some dinosaur version.

Yes sly, depending on the way the css is done for the site, your logo being a png with transparency added might not make any difference at all. But IE does not support the png format.
