Candy Cup Rules

1.Fixtures
Fixtures will be randomly decided and posted in the appropriate tread on both www.d4rk.co.za

2.Log layout
the participating teams need to play arrange and play their games within the given time period.

Stage 1:
Will be a round robin group stage where every team plays every other team once

Stage 2:
the top four teams enter the semi finals where
No.1 team on ladder VS No.4 team on ladder (semifinal A)
No.2 team on ladder VS No.3 team on ladder (semifinal B)

Stage 3:
Grand Final: Winner (semifinal A) VS Winner (semifinal B) - Best of 3


3.Availability
As the teams cannot progress without all the teams playing their game all applying clans must be active during the week

4.scheduling a match
It is the responsibility of the teams to make contact and arrange their next clannie.It is suggested that the teams use these forums.In case a team cannot find their nexst opponent after help from me and the other teams where sought and a 2day period has expired the mia team will be seen as forfeiting the game rendering the oposing team with a win

5.Playing Matches
We will be using Dota version 6.61b

game mode will be set as -cmoi by player blue
if agreed by both sideas -cdoi can also be used

Host can be decided by teams to allow the most stable host host the game. If it cannot be decided who will host, the two teams will roll to decide who hosts

6.Results
results must be posted by winner in the respective candy cup tread along with the replay


7.Remakes
here is a limit of two remakes per team for each game. In case both teams agree you can of course do more.

The game cannot be remade after the first 5 minutes have passed and/or one player’s hero has been killed by the enemy team, unless the opposing team agrees

Abusing the remake possibility will result in a default loss.

If one player disconnects and there is no remake, you are allowed to.:
1) Use the hero and his items
2) Sell all items from the hero

After a remake the players have to pick the same heroes and same items
and assume the same lanes as before. In case both teams agree you are
of course allowed to do a remake with new items and/or lanes.

Please Remember to save your game after major events
Abusing "saving" and "loading" to your favour will be a disqualifyable offence


8.in game rules

Backdooring is Legal
Item pooling is illegal exept for consumables wich may not be sold by a diffrent player.Ring's,presiveriace,bottle etc may be shared for a limited time

Item restrictions
There are no item restrictions

Hero Restrictions
There are no hero restrictions

9.Endgame
When:
- The captian type's -gg or -ff in all-chat the team declares a loss and may leave the game with a loss
- The Throne is destroyed


10.Subs
You are free to use subs / change your team as required, but in the spirit of Candycup teams are ecouraged to use the same players as often as possible.

11.Attude
Candy cup is a friendly tournament for teams that wish to improve and grow together. Essentially it is important that it should be fun for all players involved.Flaming/spamming/going MIA/Abusing the free form rules(like subbing your whole team with bvd, subbing your B team in semi finals with your A team ) etc may result in a ban from the tournament

Does this also include Base Towers or only outer towers?

Yeah, that bd rule is a lil... O_o (usually level 3 towers and rax' can't be bd'd).

The exception is they can be bd'd if they are on deniable hp.

So in the case of BD:

Players are not allowed to attack towers or other buildings inside the enemy base (this excludes the first and second tower on each lane) without creep support. You are allowed to attack any building in enemy base if there are already creeps inside the base attacking it. You don`t have to cancel your attack if all creeps are dead. Towers that are denyable are allowed to be attacked without creep support.
